How to prepare for General Awareness section of SSC CHSL Exam?

SSC CHSL Exam has four sections namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness. All these sections are important to qualify the exam. General Awareness is one of the sections which is very scoring but has a very vast syllabus. It is easy to prepare for this section as it does not have any rules or formulae to remember to solve the questions. One has to read the information related to Static Gk and revise them regularly. Current Affairs should be prepared to keep oneself updated with the latest. Every candidate does hard work but if it is done in the right direction then one can score well in the exam. Qualifying the exam is easy but scoring high will give the department of your choice. Let us discuss strategy to be adopted to prepare for such a vast syllabus and make it a scoring one for you.

1. Note down the detailed syllabus of General Awareness from the official notification of SSC CHSL 2018.
2. Make the analysis of the important topics by going through previous year question papers. An effort has been made to give you an idea about the important topics by doing an analysis of the previous year question papers.

4. Pick up the important topics based on the analysis given above and prepare them well.
5. Buy a reputed study material with authentic facts and figures based on the NCERT syllabus of higher secondary for the topics to be prepared for the exam as the level of the questions will be higher secondary.
6. Take one subject each day and prepare at least two topics from it. After learning it one should take topic test and evaluate the learning. Work on the weaknesses and take the test again on the same topic to know your evel.
